yesterday was CJC's second year of the Rockafellaskank rock bands competition! wooot! oh yea man was it good shit. well i'll just start off from the top. So it was a good school day as usual, just that i managed to skip pe by just flashing my toe nail =) still works like magic. neahehe. so i walked around the school in my slippers feeling all happy and excited. i just cant wait for rockafella! after school, tiff, bill and i went to far east where we went to donor again. its salad and marinda orange for me! =D after eating, we headed for PS where tiff went to meet her dad for a while while bill and i went to buy strings for his guitar at yamaha.
while waiting for tiff to come back, bill and i just sat outside more than words looking out for ugly skirts and wong wongs. =D fun! after about 10 mins of looking out for wong wongs and ugly skirts, tiff finally came back and we went to starbucks where we had tiramisu and caramel frappachino while waiting for dom to arrive.
after wad seemed like hours, he finally arrived and so the four of us went to macs where dom had his very and i really mean very quick dinner and left for the taxi stand..(we were only 15 mins away from seating time). just when it was our turn to get into a cab, tappy appeared out of no where and so he n dom took the taxi behind cos taxis cant take 5 people. hm.. our taxi driver was very attitudal and he's really fucked up. he drove the longer way i think.. and that costed us more than 10 bucks. come on man i can get home from farrer at a price of nine dollars. and it isn't half as far as it is from town to cj! AND we were running late.. that stupid driver still had the cheeks to tell me be patient. patient ur arss old fart. well, we got there 15 mins late but we still got in anyway just that there were very little seats left and tiff and i had to squish ourselves into one seat beside my classmate jus to sit with our classmates.
the first band was okay.. wynar's band. however u spell her name. then it was some j1 band.. which sucked like shit man. i can play better than the stupid drummer. wad kind of drummer requires his vocalist to give him the beat for the song?! it should be the other way round dude o,o. well then it was kok wai's band. tiff and i screamed. kok wai heard us. HAPPINESS! its really nice to know that the person ur cheering for knows u ARE cheering for him and hears u. u somehow get some sense of achievement if u know what i mean. haha. kok wai rocks man. hes always being so modest about his skills but yesterday, i think he had like maximum unleash. he was good man! well then there were some randomn bands after them and they werent all that good but saw and dalun's band wasnt that bad with all those stage presence and stuff. well, when the fudus and sexy came out, tiff and i were cheering like mad fucks. but oh well they were good. the fudus were damn tight man. all their syncopations were on time and even though they up the tempo of the song, it was still good and everything was in time n tune just that the vocals was a little drowned out. bose's band was FUCKING GOOD. his stage presence was just TERRIFIC and the crowd was moshing like mad. their living on a prayer was GOOD AS HELL MAN i mean heaven. i didnt join in the crowd at first since my classmates refused to do so. so i was moshing in my chair =) butt-ache! finally when everyband has performed, it was time for results! =) i was so upset that my classmates didnt even cheer for their own fellow classmates throught thw whole concert. okay . maybe they did for a little while but most of the times they were just plain stoning. well i udnerstand. they're the FIR and JAY CHOU sort. so. SEXY got first, FUDUS got second and FRANZ AND THE PUSSYCATS(Bose's band) was third. well frankly speaking i think franz deserves first even though sexy and fudus were my pals. the good part was, sexy n fudus tot so too =) haha. well happy ending! at that time, tiff anf i just cant take it anymore so we ran to the front n join the crowd in one huge as moshing while wen seng mel and xiao an played sweet child of mine, last kiss and another song which i cant remember. I REALLY ENJOYED MYSELF and i was so proud of my friends =) the concert beat oasis hands down. i guess its cos the people who won and are playing on stage are ur pals and that ur so happy for them ur busking in the glory with them. well, congrats to wenseng, mel xiao an, brandon, kok wai, saw, and trev even though some of em didnt win. they still rocked. after the concert, tiff, mel, kok wai, trev, wen seng and i went to newton where we had our supper and then shared 3 cabs home. this day shall be remembered as the day my pals shone.
